Chapter eight is the first chapter to discuss data that is being used collected from the actual research. This chapter gives the researcher many ideas on how to collect and display that data. It also gives the researcher some checklists that can be extremely helpful. This chapter as a whole is useful for someone who has never done any research of this magnitude. As a researcher one of the most pivotal things is to be organized and this unit is all about how to organize and keep data together.

No great researcher is omnipotent. All researchers have to use other peoples literature to glean possible information that they did not know. The literature review is an intrical part of the begining of starting action research. The search for information that is relative to your research is easier now than ever before. The internet makes this possible. Todays researcher can study and glean from the best minds in the world in a few clicks if they know where to look.

In my opinion the key to Chapter 6 is finding a topic that interests you. I can only imagine how difficult major research would be on something that one has no interest in. This chapter is is all about "the begining" of writing a large research paper. For me it easy to find problems in things that I am very passionate about. As a teacher I find things everyday that I would like to fix. It is through this constant upgrading and changing that research is done. So in my opinion we do a little action research every day in the class room.
